I finally hit 20 weeks and was able to get the ultra sound that I wait forever to get. It seems that time has gone by so slowly! Even with the holidays....seriously, isn't that suppose to be my guarentee of time just flying by?! Well it isn't. I must say that the plentiful eating without the guilt sure has been nice, but once the new year hits, I still will have almost 4 months left. It is the longest and most uncomfortable part of the pregnancy too. There are really no huge points in time between the new year and delivery...other than Todd's birthday, our 8th Anniversary and Valentines Day somewhere in between the two. Okay, so there are some, but will they ever happen?? Will I ever not be pregnant again??? I wonder sometimes. You start to forget what it feels like to not be pregnant.
Back to the purpose of this post.........we are having a girl! Not that I could imagine the tech uttering any other words than,"it's a girl!" It is clearly not possible! We are not disappointed though. We are happy with what we get and I know girls by now(as much as you can know kids at all, really, not really). So on with the pink and pretty hairdos. We are very excited and happy to be able to call her a,"her" and not,"it". Don't be surprised if we are on the news once we reach the teenage years because two parents went crazy and gave all four of their girls away.

Visit from the big guy.
At our annual ward party someone decide to let Santa visit. Which I'm glad for because I can't stand that people have done away with that. Anyway, the girls could not wait. Here is how it went....Morgan and Rieley so excited(Leyton changed her mind about Santa), Morgan giving in to fear at the last minute and then everyone(with a little help from Mommy)excitedly meeting Santa.
The lights at Temple Square.
Always so pretty! Last year we didn't get to make it to see the lights so this year it was a priority. Especially since Dolores hadn't seen them(I don't think). It was COLD!!!! We were very bundled, but still chilly. Cold weather really knows how to take away some of the fun. We managed pretty well though and got to see plenty. The lights are so pretty and the horse drawn carriages were the favorite of the girls.
Ginger Bread Men
Rieley has been talking about a day at school where they made a ginger bread man and he took off and made a huge mess. Well, Morgan couldn't quit thinking about it and so when Grandma Dolores came to visit we decided to put it to the test. They had a great time making them and then even decorating.......but once you leave the room those little guys throw candy and disappear. Three times it happened before I finally decided that they needed to be locked up in the Alkatraz tupperware ginger bread man prison. That took care of the problem. Let this be a lesson to all the trouble making ginger bread men.
Rieley, the organized helper
Rieley loves to be the big sister and big helper for any task. Todd is on to this so he has been very good about giving her "assignments". Her assignment this time was to get snacks ready for a drive down to Provo. Rieley was up to the challenge. Instead of filling a bag with goodies...Rieley made separate sacks with the individuals name written on it. They each had an assortment of whatever was in the pantry. It was all her own idea. What a big girl!
Rieley's 6th
My three Tinkerbells!!! It seems that we will be having a fourth Tinkerbell too. Aren't they so cute?? Rieley wanted to have a Tinkerbell party this year and so we only invited girls. It was a lot of fun and even more fun for me when it was over. We had a treasure hunt and then "tinkered" with the treasures that we found. We did presents and had cake and ice cream. That was enough for me.
Our first snow of the season. It is a little old because now all we are seeing is snow....and quite a bit of it. It makes Christmas time a lot of fun!!! Then there is a picture of my four month pregnant belly. I have been in pictures but they really don't show my stomach so more for my own memories and not for everyone else's benefit, I had Todd take the picture. The final picture is of the tree on the day we put it up. We did that even before Thanksgiving. I like having it because it puts me in a good mood...and aren't we all happy when I am in a good mood?!

Kids just being kids.
Rieley's first day of school
Rieley and I were so excited for her to start kindergarten! She's already been going for almost two months and she loves it. I ask her if she plays with her friends and she thinks about it for a minute, then she tells me no. I started to worry because I didn't want her to be without friends and then I realized it is because she always runs straight to the monkey bars during recess. Not all the girls can do them and so she is often alone. She has made some friends though, which makes me happy. I don't want her to wait too long because we know how kids can be!! They will get their little clicks and she won't be apart of them. Luckily she is so dang fun and cute and her Mom is just plain awesome!!
Flying under the radar.
Sometimes you just run out of desire to communicate with others. That is how I had been feeling for the last couple of months. I found out I was pregnant right after our TN trip........I was just starting to enjoy having only three. Then I got extra sick. I felt terrible, every smell made me gag and I was suddenly so tired!!!!!! I really was not in the mood to talk to anyone. SO I dropped off of the face of the Earth for awhile until I was doing better. Slowly things have improved, I am finally out of the first trimester and I feel a hundred times better. Don't get me wrong I am dead by the end of the day and walking up my stairs almost puts me in cardiac arrest, but I can function pretty normally. I am started to look pregnant and that makes it more fun. I still have to wait about 6 weeks to find out whether it is a girl or boy...Morgan says it smells like a boy and I'm just wondering what she smells. Maybe I need to shower more often...because we all know that boys don't smell good.
So that is the story of our lives right now. We are loving the fall weather and layered clothing. My hair is getting longer, wahooo! Life is good and I am really looking forward to the holidays!

We have had a crazy busy two weeks with the Dewey's visiting. It was so much fun, but my wrists hurt after trying to update our blog. I took over a hundred pictures in two weeks. There are so many good ones, but my computer takes too long to add them to the blog so I had to pick out the best. It was non stop every day and so worth it. We have made many great memories and we enjoyed every minute of it!
This is the annual Pioneer day block BBQ. It was held around the corner from our house at our neighbors home. We brought our own meat and a side to feed 10 people. There was lots of great company and even more great food. In the picture the men are loading a "candy cannon". It was a hit for the kids. They fill it with candy and on the count of three they push the button and candy shoots 30 feet into the air. I had to duck and run to avoid being hit, but the kids were not deterred. They mean business when it comes to candy. Now if it had been brownies or cupcakes or apple crisp with melting vanilla ice cream.........anyway.
This picture is not sideways in the folder....so why did it do that???? it's cuter when you can see it right side up.
Todd and the boy he wishes he could have. Isn't Boston so cute!? Enjoy it while you can, Todd!
