T-Ball

We have enrolled Rieley and Morgan in T-Ball to develop some of their skills, test the waters of different activities and help them build their confidence. On the first day Morgan got hit in the chest with the ball and no longer wants to play. That's progress. Rieley has been doing really well and building her confidence a little too much. No, she's doing great and she really has some talent. Morgan is good too if only she'd try a little more and didn't lose interest...or get hit with the ball on the first day. It is fun. Now if only the weather would reach above freezing on game days and be in the 70's like all the other days.

Me and baby Devyn

There is no doubt that these girls LOVE their little sister. Although it tends to be mostly irritating for me, I am very glad that they adore her. Devyn will always be taken care of(while getting dropped and hurt in the process). What can you do??

Morgan's 5th Birthday!!

Today was a momentous day.....Morgan turned 5. I remember the day I turned five. I can still picture exactly in my mind how when the head start bus driver picked me up I was sure to raise my tiny hand, spreading wide my little fingers, telling her,"I'm five today." All before even getting on the bus. I was excited and today Morgan was too. She even got up a little earlier than usual. Rieley also got up early, even earlier than Morgan, but her motives were different. It wasn't her birthday, but she wanted to help decorate the house for Morgan. She has always been so sweet like that. For my birthday she made Todd wake her up after I "fell asleep" so that she could decorate. Too bad she couldn't even stand up so Todd put her back to bed.

Back to Morgan...since it was her day and all. She had a great day! She was saying,"I can't believe I am already 5". We had a party for her at the park in the afternoon. It rained hard a lot of the day but stopped, mostly, during her party. It was still fun and lots of friends came. Grandma Linda even drove up from Moroni. I think it was a success. Now time to clean up and find more places to put the new toys.
