Todd is learning to fly fish
Some of our friends have taken us out fly fishing and we have really enjoyed it. So when an opportunity came up to take a class and actually learn how to do it, Todd jumped on it. I too would be taking the class if I were not 7 months pregnant because part of the class will actually be out in the water. It has been a great class and Todd loves it. This last Saturday was the first time they went up to the river. Todd ended up catching 6 fish. What is more fun than actually catching fish when you are fishing??? I can't wait for my turn!

Fun in the snow with Grandpa.
Papa John came to visit us from Texas. He was hoping that we might get some snow during his visit...and sure enough when we woke up this morning it was snowing. It felt pretty warm outside too so being out there was pleasant. The girls thoroughly enjoyed having Grandpa play in the snow and build a snow man with them. It gave Mommy a nice break.
The first signs of spring.
It is only February, but we are finally getting a few more of these kind of days where the sun is out and the temperatures reach about 42. It is so nice to have a reason to be outside and not so cold. Too bad it already snowed again this morning.....actually we needed more moisture and I'm sure it won't be the last time anyway. I am just grateful for these little glimpses of spring that give me something to look forward to.

Family Home Evening.
Finally, we have gotten regular with F.H.E. It is so nice to know that we have improved in one more area in the Gospel. Now on to the next. Luckily for these girls Todd likes to try and be crafty. I do too....except I lack patience to be crafty with little kids. Anyway, thanks to Todd we get to do some fun activities for F.H.E. like making stars that will be hung up in their bedrooms. If they have a good bed time then the star stays on the wall and eventually they earn something cool. Our other activity was painting and gluing baskets for stuffed animals to live in. See, way beyond my desire to entertain the girls. What a great Daddy they have!!!
A Valentine....for my pre-schooler?!?!?!?
The only real Valentine I ever got was from Todd and he became my husband. Yesterday was Morgan's Valentines party at school and they got to bring little valentines for the entire class. When we got there one of the Mothers of one of the kids asked if Morgan and I could step into the hallway for a minute. I know who this Mother is because her son Justin has always really liked Morgan and Morgan likes him too. He recently had a birthday party and just had to invite Morgan. It is pretty cute. So as we stepped into the hallway Justin, the little boy, gave Morgan a pretty pink bag with ribbon. Inside it was a teddy bear. How sweet.....if she were any older then Todd would have to kick his butt.
When Todd got home from work we had dinner and then he had to get changed for a young men's activity. Rieley, hearing this, decided to quickly get an uotfit ready for Daddy to change into. She really loves helping out. I didn't know she was up to anything until I came walking down the hallway and saw what looked like a deflated body with really tiny legs. Right away I knew that it must have been Rieley doing something special for her Dad. We giggled and decided to have extra fun with it by putting Leyton underneath it. Rieley does some sweet things.
