Well nothing really too exciting going on but I thought that I'd write so there was something new. Todd has taken the camera with him on a camp detail for work so I can't put any new pictures up...so instead I'll babble.

I got my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago. I must say that I was very nervous(but excited) because pulling teeth out from your gums seems very wrong...unnatural. I guess that is exactly what it is. Anyway, it went surprisingly well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There was pressure and breaking, but I couldn't tell when he'd actually pulled the teeth out. A few roots were holding on for dear life and he had to dig a bit, but all in all......it was great. Plus, I didn't swell or get dry socket(thank heavens). I didn't have too much pain with the help of pain medicine and now I'm doing just fine.

My girls are doing great! They are getting bigger and bigger every day. Today Morgan and mostly Rieley helped me do chores around the house. I hope they always think it is fun because it will only get worse. Leyton has learned that she can climb on to things. She gets on top of the kitchen table which doesn't make me happy. She also climbs up the side of Morgan and Rieley's bed and over their safety wall thing. They are so much fun...and give me so much stress at the same time. Awww motherhood.

Typical day

Leyton got to have some oreo cookies for a snack and this is how she ends up. All three of my girls love to have their chocolate milk. I think it is their guilty pleasure.

The storm's a brewin'

This is a storm that came out of nowhere. In the first picture you can see the contrast in the sunny sky next to the dark clouds that were blowing in. Then you can see the dark clouds in the southeast sky. There was some thunder so Rieley and Morgan had to cover their ears. The storm looks mean but I'm not sure it really even rained. That's how it happens around here. Just yesterday the sky was very sunny and then the sky turned a churning brown in the distance. It was a huge dust storm blowing towards us. It had mini twisters that blew by. The dust is horrible. Then it was gone and sunny again.

summer time has arrived

We have officially dusted off(scrubbed actually) the old plastic pool. Rieley and Morgan had a blast playing in it. Morgan is very daring...she went down backwards and upside down. Rieley isn't quite so brave...but she can pose like the best of them. Leyton was taking a nap. I'm not comfortable with her and the pool yet. Unless of course I'm willing to spend all my day next to it....and I wasn't today so it got dumped as soon as she was awake.

never a boring moment

This is a typical day in my home. Rieley and Morgan are being super silly. Morgan was dressed and eventually was down to this. They both picked their own socks that morning and who wouldn't choose the two brightest, prettiest colors(I typically prefer white)? Morgan also did her own hair. She was so proud...as she should be. Leyton is happy as always. She loves hot dogs. She is a particular eater, but hot dogs will always satisfy. She's even learning how to say it. The last picture is of Rieley and Morgan helping me to clean house(not so much Morgan). Usually as soon as I get the bathroom scrubbed, I find it hours later covered in water spots and hand soap. They are so helpful. This is also what Morgan looked like at the beginning of the day......the picture above is the outcome.

Even princesses have to be safe when learning how to ride a bike.

Morgan has just learned how to pedal on her bike this past week. Now she and Rieley are unstoppable on the back patio. Leyton just needs a little motorized four wheeler or something.

Even though the weather is heating up nicely...all of the girls are getting over colds they got last week. I don't know why I even go to church. We always end up sick afterward. Rieley had to miss both of her days at preschool last week because of her cough. But we are doing much better now. The coughs won't ever go away, but the rest of it is gone. Just in time for church again.....

Easter, Yay!

Easter was tons of fun. The girls had a great time hunting for eggs with their friends. We had two other families come over to hunt at our house before church. There were lots of giggles and squeals. Todd and I had to give talks at church only moments later so the smile on my face was a facade to hide the stress I was feeling. Everything went well though, since you all were so concerned, I'm sure. Now I can tell that I don't really like the outfit I had on. Maybe I need a full length mirror.
